Snowing in Hokitika!

Snowing in Hokitika. I woke up on Sunday and saw this weird consistency out of my window, I thought it was raining but it definitely wasn't the consistency of rain and all I could see was white. I looked at my friend Kaycee and was wondering what was going on. I knew it couldn’t have had been snow but I looked again. We ran outside and got told off because we were still in our pajamas. Once we had changed into some much warmer clothes we set off to go for a walk in the snow. As soon as I knew it my jacket and my hair were covered in snow. We were walking around and we got a bit tired but we still wanted to play in the snow and we decided to go inside. We went outside again and we looked at the Truck and we seen there's a load of snow on the windows so we decided to scrap off the snow off of the window and made them into snowballs. I was so happy because I found out the snow was settling. It was all on the grass and on my bike. Mum said that it hadn't Snowed since she was my age. I liked the snow because I had never seen it in Hokitika but I also didn't like the snow because it was freezing that day.
